Question: What’s the difference between Embroidery and Heatpress?
Answer: Embroidery is where a logo is stitched onto a garment. Heatpress is where the logo is cut out of vinyl and then heated and in effect ironed onto the garment.
Question: I just want embroidery done on clothing I will supply myself, are you able to do this for me?
Answer: Yes we are happy to provide an embroidery service should a customer wish to provide their own clothing.
Question: What’s screen printing and can you do this?
Answer: Screen printing is where the design is transferred to a screen, the screen is placed on top of the garment and special paint is applied over the screen and the design is transferred on to the garment. Yes we can offer a screen printing service.
Question: Which is best embroidery, heatpress or screen print?
Answer: Emroidery is more hardwearing and if you have a highly detailed logo or crest with several colours Embroidery will give you a top quality finish. Because it’s stitched Embroidery will give your logo a slightly raised finish so it stands out more on the garment. Heatpress gives a slightly shinier finish and is more practical for more outdoors clothing such as high visability waistcoats or jackets. Screen printing is good for large designs on plain T shirts. It’s your choice but we will always advise you on what’s best suits your garments.
